Visiting Farmer Groups in Fukuoka

Thanks to our team in Japan, we had the pleasure of meeting some of the local farmers in Fukuoka during our short stay in Japan.

The most rewarding aspect of the trip is the chance to meet a group of new-generation Japanese farmers entering organic farming. While they may not have extensive farming backgrounds, their passions and innovative ideas have created a new boost to the farming industry, demonstrating that things can be done differently. The know-how for farming takes years to learn and experience. It will be a huge loss to mankind if we are to let these experiences vanish without continuity. For these new blood, having the chance to learn from senior, experienced farmers is therefore crucial.

Organic agriculture is the combination of tradition, innovation, and science that benefits the shared environment, promotes fair relationships, and ensures a good quality of life for all involved, making it truly organic.
